Vantage

Privacy notice: usage analytics

Last updated: 2026-10-09

Who is responsible

Vantage is operated by VENTURE CITY MADRID ACCELERATOR, SLU ("TheVentureCity"), C/ Alcalá 54, 28014 Madrid, Spain. Our general privacy policy is at theventure.city/legal-advice-privacy-policy. This notice covers one thing in more detail: how we measure the use of Vantage itself.

What we collect, and why

To learn which parts of Vantage are used and to find and fix errors, we record what happens in the app: pages opened, features and AI-assistant (MCP) tools used, sign-ins, and errors. Each record carries a random internal identifier for your account. It may also carry your role, how you sign in, whether you are TheVentureCity staff, the month your account was created, and the identifier of the organization involved. This is pseudonymous: it does not contain your name or email address, and we can only connect it to you using records held inside Vantage.

What we never collect

Your name, your email address, the names of funds, companies or organizations, any financial figure, or anything you type. These are removed before anything leaves Vantage.

Legal basis

Our legitimate interest in keeping Vantage working and improving it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time; see "Your choice".

Where it goes, and for how long

We use PostHog, Inc. as our processor, with data hosted in the European Union, under a data processing agreement that includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Nothing is stored in your browser for analytics: no cookies and no local storage. Records are kept for up to 12 months.

Your choice

You can opt out at any time in Settings → Profile → Privacy, and it takes effect immediately on that device. In other open sessions, including AI assistants connected to Vantage, it takes effect within a few minutes; you do not need to sign out. Once you opt out, events we still need to count to run the service are recorded with no account identifier, no role and no organization: nothing that links them to you.

Your rights

You may ask for access to, correction or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, or object to it, by writing to data@theventure.city. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es).
